At Primary Eyecare, the health & safety of our patients and staff are always our top priority. We continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance for healthcare settings and implement procedures to adhere to such guidelines.
The CDC’s recently released new masking recommendations for fully vaccinated individuals no longer require vaccinated people to wear a mask or physically distance. However, as explicitly stated by the CDC, these new recommendations are NOT intended for healthcare settings.
While we can’t wait to see your smiling faces when visiting our offices, because we are a “healthcare setting,” it’s important to note that:
- All staff, patients, and visitors must continue to wear masks, regardless of their vaccination status.
- We will continue to follow the full infection control procedures required by the CDC for healthcare settings. This includes the use of masks, social distancing, enhanced infection prevention, and monitoring and screening staff, patients, and visitors (health survey and temp checks).
It is our commitment and obligation to provide a healthy and safe environment for each of our patients, staff, and visitors, regardless of individual risk level, vaccination status, or specific health condition. Please wear a mask and follow infection control procedures during your visit. It protects you, your loved ones, our staff, and other patients needing eye care services.
We thank you for your commitment and continued trust in us as your eye care provider.
In good health,
Your Primary Eyecare Center Team
